Submitted M.S. Thesis: ‘Applications of Deep Neural Networks in Seismology’

We wish to investigate whether DNN could provide an alternative approach to two different problems facing geophysicists: removing noise from time-series data and locating earthquakes. This is an ongoing study with supervisors: Dr. Qingkai Kong of U.C. Berkeley and Prof. Dr. Heiner Igel of LMU Munich.

Developed New Website for CISN

Updated and created new website for the California Integrated Seismic Network (CISN) using Bootstrap library framework.
